Polish rapper makes his directorial debut. "It's a story that's completely Szczecin-esque."

It doesn't matter whether you like rap or steer clear of it. Anyone interested in good Polish music has surely heard of Łon and his work. Now, the artist is boldly entering the world of film.

Adam Zieliński, best known as Łona , is undoubtedly a man of many talents. A lawyer , a brilliant songwriter , acclaimed rapper , and a recipient of the Polityka Passport Award . Even if you're not interested in hip-hop, you should definitely know albums like "Cztery i pół" (Four and a Half) or "Taxi" ... Now, the artist has decided to explore a new role: as a filmmaker .

As we read in the trailer, "Monday: Paprotka" is the story of a lawyer who, on his way to work, receives a phone call from one of his clients, which lands him in the middle of a dispute between entrepreneurs.

"The entrepreneurs may be small, but their conflict is gigantic. The missing documents trigger an avalanche of accusations and expectations, which the attorney masterfully manipulates from behind the wheel. For now," we read in a press release.

Łona's directorial debut is a work that combines elements of action , road movies , and legal drama . The rapper, known for his storytelling talent, wrote the script. He was assisted by Jakub Litke and Adam Barwiński .

The main role in the film was played by Dawid Dziarkowski , and on the screen we also see Adam Kuzycz-Berezowski , Joanna Matuszak and Sławomir Kołakowski .

Ewelina Marcinkowska is responsible for the production, the cinematography is the work of Michał Bączyński and Piotr Gołdych , and the editing is by Nikodem Chabior .

- This is a story that is thoroughly Szczecin-esque, created in Szczecin's minds, on Szczecin's roads and almost entirely by Szczecin's hands - announce the creators.

It's worth noting who handled the music. Andrzej Konieczny and Kacper Krupa , known from the band Siema Ziemia , took on the task. The musicians also recorded the aforementioned album "Taxi" with Łona , and I emphasize once again that you absolutely must hear it.
